As long last, Giddings Polytechnic Academy incorporators have smoke peace -pipes in giving the institution its permanent status.

On August 12, 2023, Prof. Isaac Saye-Lakpoh Zawolo and Dr. Diafei F. Giddings signed an MOU on for the smooth operation of the Institution thereby restoring peace in the Institution.

The MOU indicates that Mr. Zawolo will serve as the Executive Director and Proprietor while Dr. Giddings will receive Royalty for his contribution to the school during its establishment and the use of his Intellectual property.

The two parties have agreed to work tirelessly in making the Institution maintain its status as one of the best secondary schools in Liberia.

After the signing of the MoU, Dr. Giddings wrote on his official Facebook page:

“Three years ago, while running Giddings Polytechnic, I decided to welcome and work with Real Academy International School System headed by Mr. Isaac Saye-Lakpoh Zawolo to open and run the Giddings Polytechnic Academy, a high school in Kakata. I did so out of a strong desire to collaborate and provide more opportunities for the people of Kakata, a community that means a lot to me. Since the establishment of the school, we began to have issues with its ownership and how it was running. We have been trying to resolve this issue over the last three years and have had many internal and external discussions, some of which claimed the attention of most of you. Today, I write to inform you that through a Mediation Committee headed by Amb Joseph Orlando Beyan, we have resolved the matter”

Mr. Zawolo also confirmed his commitment to upgrading the Institution on a local radio station in Kakata.

“The school should have been in a better condition than what it is today. All of this resulted from the continuous conflict surrounding the institution over time. I’m happy now that we have come to a conclusion in resolving this matter and that the matter is now resolved. Moving forward, I will be working with the other party for the growth and expansion of the school. This will include upgrading our vocational programs, creating International and local scholarship opportunities, and building the school a decent structure in a more comfortable environment. Parents are encouraged to take advantage of the Quality Education provided by the school. It is my way of paying back to the people of Kakata, a community I hailed from.”

The Institution is encouraging parents to make use of the opportunity to join the Institution for Academic 2023/2024 as it is engaged with providing Quality Academics.

The school has qualified Teachers with bachelor’s Degrees from Junior High to Senior High and offers Skill Training and Technology.

The Giddings Polytechnic Academy has been producing 100% passes in public exams since its establishment due to the standard put in place.
