{Weala-Margibi} The Etta-Satta Foundation Aid in Konola along the Kakata-Gbarnga halfway has graduated over five hundred {500} students in live skill training programs.

The event was held on Wednesday, 16 August 2023 at the Weala Public School Auditorium and brought together over one thousand citizens of Konola, Weala and other surrounding towns and villages in District #5, Margibi County.

Giving the overview of the program, Madam Alice T. Baysah, Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation said, the skill training is a project that was initiated by her late mother years ago.

Madam Baysah further, with the knowledge being impacted in the graduates in various disciplines will go a long way and make them self-sufficient in aiding their male counterparts.

According to her, based on their assessment and request from the people the 529 graduates were trained in two disciplines including Soap Making and Baking and the training lasted for three months.

For her part, Madam Set Fofanah Sahr, Coordinator of Liberia Chiefs and Elders who proxy on behalf of VP Jewel Howard Taylor encouraged the graduates to take seriously the knowledge being impacted to them.

She explained that whenever a lady is self-sufficient, they can be a help to their homes and their spouses will not look down on them as they will be contributing greatly to their respective homes.

Meanwhile, Liberia Culture Ambassador Juli Endee calls on Margibian to uphold the peace as we draw close to October 10 Elections.

Madam Julee Endee, Culture Ambassador of the Republic of Liberia has called on Margibian to keep the peace as the gear towards the conduct of Liberia 2023 presidential and legislative elections.

She lamented, the peace that the country continue to enjoyed since the fourteen (14) years of civil war should be protected and maintained as we strive for a better Liberia.

Ambassador Endee noted, during the fourteen years of civil unrest the country and its people could not develope due to the growing waves of tensions and the killing of innocent people by rebels.

She wants the country to remain as stable as it is ahead and after the most anticipated elections in our country democracy.
