With barely 50 days to the conduct of the October 10 Presidential and Legislative elections in Liberia, Margibi County Lone female of District #3 Ellen Attoh-Wreh received Endorsement from a group under the Bander Patriotic Movement for Ellen Attoh re-election.

The day event was graced by a hall full of people from the district and took place at the Kakata administrative building on Saturday, August 19, 2023.

Reading the group endorsement statement, Chairman Daynuah Menyarmon Teah stated that Representative Wreh has made great contributions to the lives of citizens of District #3 Margibi County since she got elected as a lawmaker.

He added that the district #3 lawmaker has served residents of the district excellently since 2018 and the need for her re-election can’t be overstated.

Mr. Teah noted that her developments in the district are unmatched, something that led to endorsing her re-election bid.

“Today, we have come to tell the citizens of District #3, Margibi County, and Liberia by extension, that Hon Ellen Attoh-Wreh has effectively and efficiently served the people of District #3 and its surroundings for the last five years”. Daynuah added!

“In so doing, we(the Patriots of District #3) have come to recommit ourselves and endorse your second term bid in the planned October 10 elections”. He noted.

Mr. Teah however noted that with the re-election of the Margibi lone female lawmaker, citizens of District #3 will continue to benefit from more development.

“Today, we have come to tell the citizens of District #3, Margibi County, and Liberia by extension, that Hon Ellen Attoh-Wreh has effectively and efficiently served the people of District #3 and its surroundings for the last five years”. Daynuah added!

Mr. Teah however noted that with the re-election of the Margibi lone female lawmaker, citizens of District #3 will continue to benefit from more development.

He disclosed that the lawmaker has been able to perform her three Cardinal responsibilities, while at the same making immense contributions in the District.

He named good health care, women empowerment, and road connectivity, among others.

“Hon Ellen Attoh-Wreh, we want to thank you for excellently representing the good people of the electoral District #3 at the 54th National Legislature”. He added.

“You have excellently performed your three Cardinal responsibilities, which range from lawmaking, Oversight, and representation”. He added.

Interestingly, you didn’t stop there, you have provided a good education for residents of District #3, connecting our roads, providing skill training for our Women/men/youth, payment for scholarships, and packaging pregnant women’s bags”. he disclosed.

According to chairman Daynuah Yeah representative Wreh is the only leader that understands the situation of the inhabitants of District #3, thus rallying citizens to support the re-election of Representative Ellen Attoh-Wreh.

For her part, Hon Ellen Attoh-Wreh commended the group for their support and termed said she doesn’t see such an endorsement coming, but attributed it to the working of God.

She reaffirmed her commitment to the citizens of District #3 Margibi County of her continued quest of bettering the living conditions of residents of the District.

“I want to be frank with you all here today, I didn’t see this coming, but all I can say is the work of God and I know he destined this day”. She intoned.

“I want to recommit myself in this public gathering that what we started five years ago, we are going to continue and even modified it for the best of our citizens”. She added.

The Margibi lawmaker also indicated that she remains a servant to the people of District #3, as she calls on them to vote wisely in the upcoming elections.

The Margibi County Iron Lady as she is widely called encourages supporters of her team to continue to remain peaceful in the upcoming elections and remain focused on becoming victorious in the October 10 elections.
