Citizens of Lofa county under the banner Friends of Senator-Elect Brownie Samukai Solidarity Movement has officially launched a mass dollar rally to raise about 1.4 million United States Dollars in support of Lofa County Senator-elect Brownie Samukai.
At the ceremony on Sunday, several Lofa citizens were seen raising huge cash and at the same time announcing the bank account and mobile money numbers for financial transfer from other citizens.
The Lofa Citizens is also demanding the Supreme Court to certificate their senator-elect Brownie Samukai
Speaking at the ceremony, the citizens mentioned that their senator elect Brownie Samukai was in no error to use the AFL funding as was being directed by the former head of state, Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
According to lofa county Citizens in Monrovia today, the dollar rally is launched not only in Monrovia but the rally go across lofa county in town and villages and around the world to make sure their Senator elect enter in the Liberian Senate to move lofa county forward.
