As part of efforts to promote Early Childhood Education, the Ministry of Education with support from World Bank on Tuesday broke grounds for the construction of three Early Childhood Educational facilities across the County.

The Ceremony which took place in Gbah Jacket Town, Senjeh District was graced by school administrators, students, parents among others.

Speaking on behalf of Minister Ansu Sonnie, Bomi County Education Officer Samuel Koenig disclosed that the construction of the ECE facilities in three districts of the County is the government of Liberia and partners own way of promoting the educational sector across the County.

Hon Koenig further explained that the project which contains a two year duration is implemented in six of the fifteen Counties with the aim of constructing state of the art ECE facilities in the targeted Counties.

The Bomi CEO then used the medium and pledged the government’s full support towards the sector for the effective and efficient operation of school administrators.

Remarking on behalf of beneficial schools in the County, Mr. Bill Walker, Principal of the Gbah Public School lauded the government and partners for selecting Bomi as one of the Counties for the construction of ECE facilities.

He further pointed out that they as beneficiaries will do all in their reach to ensure that the facilities be maintained upon full completion.
