The unity of Bong County legislative caucus is now said to be undermined by three lawmakers of the county, as the three of them abandoned the Vice President visits to Bong County.

Bong County: Several citizens of Bong county have raised serious concerns over the absence of three members of the Bong legislative caucus at the program marking the honoring and thanks giving ceremony of Liberia’s vice president chief Dr.Jewel Howard Taylor in Bong County.

Those involved are:Rep.Josiah Marvin Cole, Rep.Albert Hills Jr. and Rep Edward Warmeh Karfiah respectively.

Among all, many are more concerned about Rep.Josiah Marvin Cole who has over the past Decade branded himself as the political walking stick of the vice president in the county.

It has been speculated in the news that Rep.Cole has broken his political tie with the vice president on grounds that she allegedly failed to support his interest in the just ended senatorial election in the county.

Rep.Marvin Cole fully supported the senatorial bid of the CDC’s candidate by then senator of Bong county Hon.Henry Willie Yallah while the vice president officially declared on a local radio station that was not supporting anyone in the county.

Following that, there has been tussle between the vice president and Rep.Cole over a seventy five thousand 75,000 USD laboratory project as to who takes the glory.

Many Bongese now believe that political differences has engulfed the long lasting relationship between the vice president and Rep.Cole in the Liberian politics.

The actions of Hon.Hills and Karfiah remain unknown as Rep. Cole goes under serious public criticism.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Bong legislative caucus Hon.Joseph Papa Kolleh seized the opportunity to call on the vice president foster reconcilation among leaders of the county.

“We need to be eight here today but three of our colleagues are not here and we don’t know the reason”, Hon.Kolleh is quoted as saying.

But biggest question remains unanswered, will the three agree to reconcile with their colleagues?
