Vice President Taylor to visit Bong County on Saturday.

After spending at least there months in Accra, Ghana undergoing treatment following a brief illness, Liberia’s Vice President Chief Dr. Jewel Howard-Taylor will on Saturday January 16, 2021 pay a courtesy visit to Bong County.
It can be recalled that in August of 2020, Madam Jewel Howard-Taylor fled the country for Ghana to seek further medication following Doctor’s advice of her illness.

While in Ghana, Doctors’ medical report revealed that the Liberian Vice President was tested positive for the deadly Corina virus that has claimed more than Two Million (2,000,000) lives and has affected more than Ninety-Three Million (93,000,000) people round the globe.

She was later band form traveling to Liberia as a means of curtailing the spread of the virus that has caused several setbacks for Liberians raging from education, economic, health to the decline in bilateral trade.

The Liberian female political giant considered to have stayed in Accra, Ghana for three months undergoing treatment after which she was pronounced free of the virus by Doctors in Ghana.

She subsequently returned to Liberia following her recovery, to do the work of the Liberian people.

Since her return to the country, she has not visited her home and this visit serves to be her first visit after overcoming the virus.

VP Taylor’s visit to Bong County on Saturday is intended to appreciate the citizens of Bong for their tireless prayers rendered for her during her time of illness.

During her visit, the Liberian Vice President is also expected to break grounds for several projects in the county.

The former Bong County Senator will attend a thanks giving ceremony at the Christ Vision International Ministry Church in Gbarnga to testify the goodness of the Almighty God.

Citizens of Bong County are eagerly waiting to witness the arrival of the most successful daughter in Bong County’s politics.
